Life has been crazy!

I haven't had a chance to post in a few weeks (I know Colin you and your Dad are the only ones who check the blog but I am sorry I haven't had or made time to post)! I hope you all are doing great! Please tell Eric and the boys we said hello!

Life has been crazy to say the least (but please understand I love it!!!). As you know the Schroer family is all about organized chaos!
The kids are doing awesome! They are wonderful big sisters! Each of them has accepted their role and are doing great with it! Linda and Emery are doing wonderful!
Yes that is Julia (below) getting ready to get on a "pogo stick" in the "snow / rain" in a puddle in the back yard!
Blakely making her snowman! It was a "slushy" snow but served its purpose for the kids to get to play in it!
We have been on Spring Break for the last week! It has been wonderful to finally get some time to rest... the kids are going 100 mph with their activities (soccer / gymnastics). I am coming to the last couple of weeks in our high school tennis season.
Emery Rae! Sleeping away! Doing what she does!
That's our girls! Hanging out on the couch! That couch will have been through 4 girls (it's about time to put it out of its misery)! Linda has left a permanent imprint in it (yes, she knows I said this)!
After the neighborhood easter egg hunt! Thanks for reading! I will post again soon! Hopefully! Summer break is close!

Coming Home!

Linda and Emery came home yesterday (Saturday)... all checked out by the Dr.'s and such! Linda is moving around GREAT! For having the 4th "C" Section she is a trooper!

My parents have been up here the last 3 days helping get the house ready for the new addition (our house hasn't had that good of a "deep cleaning" since we moved in)! Saturday Papa, Myself and the Kids planted a garden and two other areas were set aside / put together with azaleas and a japanese maple (looks great)! The kids did an awesome job helping make it look pretty for when Linda and Emery got home...

Last night we were all set to go to bed - infact we all went to bed and Linda and Emery were downstairs (slept in the living room) - at some point during the night - the dog pooped and yacked on the floor (Linda cleaned both of them up) 2 of the little ones came downstairs and wanted to sleep on the couch near Linda - so much for coming home and getting some rest - she should have stayed in the hospital - she would have gotten more rest!

Christmas Card Pictures!

Getting ready for Christmas! Everyone is glad the Christmas break is here! Very much needed... These are the pictures we used for the "Christmas Cards" we (Linda) is sending out! Last night while we were sitting around there was a knock on the door and when we went to answer it was about 35-40 people from a local church singing Christmas Carols! Pretty cool... when they finished here at our house we rounded the kids up with coats and shoes (surprising I know they wore shoes) and joined them in singing at other houses in the neighborhood - pretty cool!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! The kids had Wednesday off from school (day before Thanksgiving) - whoohoo! Papa called Redeemer Church and set it up so the kids could come down and be part of the feed the homeless Thanksgiving meal! Great opportunity for the kids to do some community service... when we got there we sat at a table and our first job was to wrap the forks in the napkins / put in a "tub" and place it in the serving line - we put together 400 napkins / forks! We ended up serving right at 400 people - below is a picture of the meals being prepared (hotdogs, slaw, baked beans and more to come)...The kids are in the "serving line" after the people received their "main course" we were there to hand out the napkin / fork / chips / ketchup / mustard / salt and pepper!
Great day! Another picture of the first part of the serving line (back in the kitchen)...Great day today - great opportunity for the kids to be part of something good in the community! Very tiring but hopefully very rewarding...
